Kathy Collins
Kathy graduated from Daemen College in Amherst, NY with a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy in 1993. She moved to Hickory, North Carolina in 1994 where she has resided since. Kathy has been practicing as a Physical Therapist for the past 27 years with a specialty in Pediatrics.
She loves being able to help each child reach for the stars and teach them how to best meet their individual and family goals. One of her biggest strengths is thinking outside of the box, teaching each child and family how to adapt their home and activities to participate in any and all activities that they want to or will encounter in their daily living.
Kathy grew up in a small town of St. Mary’s, PA. Shortly after she graduated from Physical Therapy School, she moved to Hickory, NC.
When she is not at work, she enjoys spending her time volunteering with a Non-Profit organization that helps children and seniors. She also cherishes her time with her husband and four legged furry children on the lake, hiking, and camping.
In addition to her husband, who brings a great deal of joy to her life, she has a stepson, daughter-in-law, granddaughter, and grandson that make her heart grow larger each day as well. Family and friends are the foundation that makes her the person and therapist that she is today.
