Rachel grew up in the Hickory/ Granite Falls area. She went to undergrad at University North Carolina Wilmington where she graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Exercise Science. From there she moved to Oregon to pursue her graduate degree at George Fox University. She graduated in May of 2020 with her Doctor of Physical Therapy.

 

Rachel found her passion for pediatrics within the first year of grad school when doing hours at the university clinic. Throughout her schooling she continues to provide PT services to kiddos, culminating to getting her final clinical rotation at OHSU Doernbecher Children’s hospital. That was when she truly decided pediatrics was where she wanted to start her career and she couldn’t be more happy to have found an amazing team to be a part of at Little Angels Therapy!
